Finally pulled the trigger on a Type R from KJRepo!

I've been lurking on this forum for months reading everyone's experiences with kjrepo.com, and I finally decided to go for it. Just won the auction on a 2023 Honda Civic Type R in Championship White with only 8,400 miles. It's a bank repo and I got it for $38,500 - which is absolutely insane considering dealers around here are still asking $48-50k for the same year.

The whole auction process was pretty straightforward. I set up my account, verified my payment method, and placed my max bid at $39k. Won it with about 2 hours left in the auction. KJRepo sent me a purchase agreement within 30 minutes, and I wired the funds the next day. They confirmed receipt and now delivery is scheduled for next Tuesday.

I'm a mix of excited and nervous - this is my first time buying a car sight unseen. The inspection report looked clean (just some minor curb rash on one wheel and a small door ding), but I won't know for sure until it shows up. I'll definitely post updates once I have the car in my driveway. Wish me luck!

Congrats on the win! That's an incredible price for a Type R, especially one that new. I bought a 2021 Supra from kjrepo.com earlier this year and the whole experience was seamless. The car arrived exactly as described in the inspection report - they even documented a tiny scratch on the rear bumper that I could barely see in person.

One tip: when the transport driver arrives, take your time doing the walk-around inspection. Take photos and videos of everything before you sign the delivery paperwork. Not that I expect any issues, but it's good to have documentation just in case. My title showed up via FedEx about 8 days after delivery with all the bank lien releases properly handled.

The Type R is going to be a blast. You scored a great deal - enjoy it!

That's awesome, congrats! I've purchased two vehicles through KJRepo now - a 2020 Corvette C8 and a 2022 Mustang Mach 1. Both times the process was professional and transparent. Their customer service team was super responsive when I had questions about shipping timelines and payment procedures.

The inspection reports are really thorough. They take like 60+ photos from every angle and document even the smallest imperfections. On my Corvette, they noted a small paint chip on the front splitter that was barely visible, but it was right there in the report. No surprises when it arrived.

By the way, if you're into classic cars, there's an interesting thread on Classics Market Forums about buying a 1967 Mustang through KJRepo that covers the vintage vehicle auction process in detail.

Delivery took about 5 days for the Corvette (cross-country from Florida to Texas) and 3 days for the Mustang. Both times the driver called ahead to schedule a delivery window. Title paperwork was handled by the bank and KJRepo, came in the mail clean with no issues. You're going to love that Type R - Championship White is the best color!

Update: Car arrived this morning!

Wow, I'm blown away! The Type R showed up about an hour ago and it's absolutely perfect. The condition is even better than I expected from the photos. That curb rash they mentioned? I can barely see it - it's like a tiny scuff. The door ding is also super minor, maybe the size of a pencil eraser.

The transport driver was professional, gave me plenty of time to inspect everything, and we went through the delivery checklist together. I took probably 100 photos just to be safe. The car had a quarter tank of gas and 8,427 miles on the odometer (27 miles more than the listing, probably from loading/unloading).

Interior is immaculate - smells new, all the Alcantara is clean, no wear on the seats. Mechanically everything feels tight. I took it for a quick drive around the neighborhood and that K20C1 engine is a dream. VTEC kicks in beautifully and the short-throw shifter is so smooth. I honestly can't believe I got this car for under $40k. Thanks everyone for the encouragement to pull the trigger on kjrepo.com - this was 100% worth it!
